Title: Diffusion MRI: Fundamentals and Applications in Neuroimaging
Abstract: Diffusion magnetic resonance imaging was first introduced in 1985. Over the years, this method continuously evolves. It begins with single-direction exponential decay, to three-direction diffusion-weighted imaging, to diffusion tensor imaging, high angular resolution diffusion imaging, q-space imaging, multi-shell imaging, and so on. In this talk, I will review some of the diffusion magnetic resonance imaging methods, current status, and applications in neuroimaging.
