Title: "Strong magnets and tiny hearts: assessing regional myocardial function in rodents using high-field MRI"

Presented by Emil Espe (Postdoc, University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital).

Short abstract:

Rodent models play an irreplaceable role in modern cardiovascular research. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows sophisticated assessment of cardiac function, anatomy and structure in small animals models of heart disease. This talk will discuss evaluation of regional myocardial function in rodents using high-field MRI
